| Dianne Otterby, 57 Born: Providence, Rhode Island Doing Cancer is a bad dream to get through so that you can enjoy the life you had and still have. The bad dreams for me is best articulated by Alices trip down the rabbit hole, but done in Black, Grey and Red. Movement out of the nightmare was possible because of the love and support of my husband and children, the birth of my granddaughters, and the strength of a dozen women experiencing versions of my nightmare. Included are pieces of wisdom, words, symbols, pictures (transfers) I clung to as I moved through the process. I am reminded that the Chinese Character for Crisis included the character for opportunity. Doing Cancer provided an opportunity to reassess my path, reaffirm my relationships, meet sharing the road.
