Carol Martinez, 55 Born: San Jose, California. Growth in myself. When I began the apron--I had saved the FLAVIA angel calendar--I chose different sayings I liked. Then I picked out certain angels to enhance the writings. Just a meaningful way of reminding me at the time we all have our angels to count on--also I had a need for lots of color, using chalk. I had the ribbon I liked and felt a need to enclose the apron with something soft. Different sayings were words that made me feel warm and fuzzy.
