Couples Workshop
An opportunity for couples to explore the challenge of loving and living with breast cancer. To register, please call (408) 261-1425. Enrich Your Life and Your Relationship Skills to deal with serious health issues. How to ask those tough questions. Address feelings of fear, anger and sexuality. How to answer well-meaning but insensitive questions. Understand and express what you each need. Learn to find simple joy during this difficult time. Share ideas for living, loving and surviving. Participants comment on their experience: I finally learned what the marriage vow through sickness and in health really means. This is truly an illness that should not be dealt with as independent people who happen to live together, but rather as a couple that is coping with a set of very complex medical and emotional issues. - Stewart Sharing with others who had been there eased the journey for both of us. - Kathleen Facilitated by Judith Duque, LMFT Judy brings her professional and life experience to her work with couples and families, including her experience with breast cancer. |
